Here are the submission guidelines: comics eligible for consideration must have been published in the eligibility period either on paper on electronically, in English, by a North American author, or one who makes his or her home here. As this 2010 volume hits the shelves we will have already passed the deadline for the 2011 volume and will be on to collecting for the 2012 volume, whose eligibility window is September 1, 2010 – August 31, 2011. A note about webcomics (and comics on the web): We do our best to find what's out there, and we rely on friends, blogs, and "best of" lists to track down important work, but we are aware that webcomics is an area that deserves better coverage. Therefore we'd like to especially encourage you web cartoonists and publishers to send us submissions either on paper or digitally. Printed submissions can be sent is at the address below. Digital submissions can be made in the form of a PDF of comics published in the eligibility window with each comic labeled with the exact date it was published on line. Better yet, you might make a sub-selection of what you consider to be your best strips from the year or send a self-contained continuity as long as it appeared in the eligibility period. You can mail a CD of the pdf to us or you can e-mail a download link to .
