Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books & Media will publish The Nature of Middle-earth, a previously unseen collection of writings by J.R.R. Tolkien, in the U.S. on June 24, 2021. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books & Media announced today the creation of Etch, a new imprint in its Books for Young Readers group, dedicated to publishing graphic novels that exemplify the best in art and storytelling across genres and reflect the diversity of young readers. The seven titles on the Etch launch list will publish beginning in September 2020; going forward, the imprint will release around 15 books per year.
